A portion of sales proceeds from designer duo Ashima-Leena's new line will be used towards upliftment of tribals and of remote villages of Giridih district in Jharkhand.

Ashima-Leena have come up with a ready-to-wear range La Vie En Rose, launched at the DLF Emporio here. The designers said 20 per cent of the sales will be donated towards Savera Foundation, read a statement.

The new line, inspired by the signature song of popular French singer Edith Piaf -- written in 1945 -- consists of capes, accessories and Indian ensembles.

Savera Foundation is dedicated to work with poor and most marginalised women, children and men (and Tribals) in bettering their condition, since 2006.
