Officials said the incident was reported at around 8:30 a.m. when a cleaning staff at the station informed the authorities of a woman hanging near water supply pipe at the end of platform no 2.The women allegedly hanged herself using her 'dupatta'.

However, her name and address is yet to be ascertained.

Sources in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said the woman's body has been sent to the nearest hospital for post-mortem.

The police is scanning the CCTV recording of the station to gather information in this regard.
