Market rises; Akzo Nobel, Gravita India, ABM International hit 52-week high
NEW DELHI: Shares of ITI Ltd, Sharda Motor, Vikas GlobalOne, Sobha Ltd, Jai Balaji Inds, Gufic BioSci, Gravita India, Akzo Nobel, Refex Ind, Visaka Ind, ABM International Ltd.and Crest Ventures hit their fresh 52-week high in Thursday’s trade on NSE.
On the other hand, Sujana Towers, Euro Finmart, Syncom Health, ANG Industries, Readymade Steel, KSS Ltd, KSK Energy Vent, Shekhawati Poly, Zenith Birla, FCS Software, Rasoya Proteins, VKS Projects touched their fresh 52-week low.
Buoyed by firm global cues, benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 38.25 points up at 9068.70 around 11.50 am (IST).
Overall, 41 shares were trading in green, while 10 were trading in red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, BPCL, GAIL, Wipro, NTPC, Tata Motors, YES Bank, Grasim Inds., Hero MotoCorp, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Aurobindo Pharm stood among top gainers, while Eicher Motors, Bosch, ITC, Hind. Unilever, Ambuja Cements, HDFC Bank, BHEL, TCS, Cipla, UltraTech Cem., M&M, Sun Pharma were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was up 119.38 points at 29287.06 around the same time. Traders were seen piling up position in Shipping, Beverages - Non-Alcoholic, Hospitality, Equipments, Finance, Petrochemicals, Beverages - Alcoholic, Metals - Non Ferrous, Fertilisers, Power, Paints and Pigments, Infrastructure sectors, while selling were visible in Packaging, Iron, Textiles, Auto, Banks, Transport, Plastics sectors.
