The University of Virginia Darden School of Business has launched a new massive open online course (MOOC), Financial Accounting Fundamentals, with an intent to enable learners of all backgrounds in the fundamentals of financial accounting.

The five-week course starts on March 27, and will be taught by Darden Professor Luann Lynch and is available to an audience across the globe via the Coursera platform. "Whether you are an investor, small business owner or interested in demystifying financial language, this introductory course will be useful," said Lynch.
