: Southern Railway has regulated services of some trains in view of ongoing track doubling work between Thiruvalla and Changanasseri andyard remodeling at Changanasseri station.

Accordingly, the Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 8.40 PM is likely to be detained for 45 minutes in Kottayam section from March 24 to 27 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), a Southern Railwy release said today.



Similarly, the Veravel-Thiruvananthapuram Express and Gandhidham-Nagercoil express would also be detained for 45 minutes in the section on March 24 and 25 respectively.

Trains to be diverted Via Alappuzha on March 28 (Tuesday) are Bengaluru-Kanyakumari Express, Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi Express, Thiruvananthapuram-Hydrabad Sabari Express, Kanyakumari-CST express and Express between NewDelhi-Thiruvananthapuram in both directions.

All the diverted trains will be provided stoppages at Ernakulam Junction, Cherthala, Alappuzha and Harippad stations,the release said.
