Shubham Singh grabbed a five-for and Arjun Hoysala hammered an unbeaten century as Herons Cricket Club beat RBNCC, Mysuru, by six wickets in the final of the KSCA Special Tournament (knock-out) for zonal champions and top six teams of Group 1, Division II here.

Shubham first set the stage up nicely for Herons when his 5/23 helped dismiss RBNCC for just 209 in 48.1 overs. Abhishek Jain top scored with a 70.

Hoysala then ensured the job was complete with minimal fuss as his 113-ball 108 not out (6x4, 1x6) powered Herons past the target in just 39.3 overs. Nithin Naidu was undeparted along with Arjun, hitting a fine 41.
