New Delhi: German luxury carmaker BMW AG on Thursday said it will raise car prices in India by around 2% from April. All the products of the company’s BMW models, including the MINI range, will become costlier.

“In today’s economic conditions, to maintain our exceptional brand positioning and continue offering a distinct value proposition to our premium clientele, we have decided to marginally revise the prices of the BMW and MINI product portfolio,” BMW Group India president Vikram Pawah said in a statement. BMW has been in the forefront of introducing innovative products, building world-class dealerships and offering services ahead of its time, Pawah added.
