New Delhi: German luxury carmaker BMW AG on Thursday said it will raise car prices in India by around 2% from April. All the products of the company’s BMW models, including the MINI range, will become costlier.
“In today’s economic conditions, to maintain our exceptional brand positioning and continue offering a distinct value proposition to our premium clientele, we have decided to marginally revise the prices of the BMW and MINI product portfolio,” BMW Group India president Vikram Pawah said in a statement. BMW has been in the forefront of introducing innovative products, building world-class dealerships and offering services ahead of its time, Pawah added.
BMW at present sells a range of vehicles in India, including sedans 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 Series, along with SUVs X1, X3, X5 and the performance-oriented M Series. The company also sells models under the MINI and Rolls-Royce brands.
