Check out Narendra Modi's cheeky reply to Ravi Shastri on Twitter
Narendra Modi's witty repartee to a Ravi Shastri tweet was the talk of Twitterati on Thursday.
It all started when the flamboyant cricketer-turned-commentator posted a tweet praising the BJP's landslide win in the recently concluded Uttar Pradesh polls.
In reply, the PM responded in cheeky style.
Shastri isn't really known as someone who expresses his views on subjects other than cricket and his tweet praisng Modi certainly caught cricket followers by surprise. He is also new to the world of 140 characters, joining as recently as December last year.
Modi's response saw over 3000 retweets and more than 6000 likes by late evening.
Shastri's 'Tracer Bullet' has been so popular that BCCI had started a contest with all current India players trying to imitate their former Team Director taking the 'Tracer Bullet Challenge'.
BJP president Amit Shah also later replied to Shastri's tweet.

Congratulations @BJP4India on the landslide win in UP. The pair of PM @narendramodi & @AmitShah went past 300-mark like a #TracerBullet

Thank you. UP polls did not quite go down to the wire. But, at the end of the day democracy is indeed the real winner! :) https://t.co/suoTqZtXit
