SRINAGAR : A former sarpanch was killed by unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Pulwama today, official sources said.
They said gunmen kidnapped former sarpanch Fayaz Ahmad from his Kakoora residence in Pulwama early this morning.
His bullet riddled body has been recovered from village Chewa Kalan in the district, they said.
Police has registered a case and started massive hunt to nab the killers, they said. (AGENCIES)
