Bangladesh batsman Soumya Sarkar is the latest cricketer who has suffered 'brain fade' while using the DRS.

During the first Test against Sri Lanka, Sarkar, who was bowled by Asela Gunaratne asked for a referral after the umpire took a little time to raise his finger.

That action from Sarkar had everyone in splits and left the batsman embarrassed.

Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by 259 runs in the first Test match at the Galle International Stadium.

Spinner Rangana Herath picked up 6 for 59 as Bangladesh were 197 all out in the chase of an improbable 457-run target to help the home side go 1-0 up in the two-match series.
