The Pakistan High Commission in India on Friday said India has released two Pakistani boys, who were arrested on charges of aiding the September 18 Uri attack, and handed them over to the army to sent them back home.
The boys are now at Attari immigration.
"All arrangements have been made for their return to Pakistan via the Wagah border," an official statement said.
An official of the Pakistan High Commission will be at the border to facilitate their return.
The two suspects, who were arrested, last year, following the attack on an Indian Army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, have been released by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
NIA has removed all the charges from the two residents of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) saying they were not involved in any terror activity, citing lack of evidence as the main reason.
Last September, an attack was orchestrated by four heavily armed terrorists on the Indian security forces in Uri town of Jammu and Kashmir. The gun battle lasted for almost six hours which resulted in the death of 19 Indian soldiers while all the four militants were killed as well.
