The Rajya Sabha will have a long weekend due to a two-day holiday on March 13 and 14 on account of Holi.
Announcing this in Rajya Sabha, Deputy Chairman P J Kurien said there will be a holiday on March 13 and 14 and the House will now meet at 11 am on Wednesday, March 15.
However, for the Lok Sabha, there will be only a day's holiday on March 13 on account of Holi.
Announcing adjournment of the day's proceedings in the Lok Sabha, Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai said the House will now meet at 11 am on Tuesday, March 14.
Tomorrow and day after being Saturday and Sunday are anyway holidays for both the Houses.
The second phase of the Budget session of Parliament began yesterday and will continue till April 12.
