Chief Minister on Thursday said the state is focusing on offering high speed broadband internet services to the gram level in the next three years.

"The state is focusing on providing end to end dedicated network from the state headquarters to gram level by offering high speed broadband internet services in next three years time for seamless transactions of services," said Patnaik.

Inaugurating the two-day conference INFOCOM Advantage Odisha-2017 here, he said the IT sector is at the top of the state government's agenda.

The Chief Minister said that the state strives to make a preferred destination for IT-ITES-ESDM companies by providing most congenial business environment with a slew of attractive fiscal incentives and concessions through industry friendly policies.

"The growth rate of IT exports from the State is more than the national growth rate since many years. Our recently announced special package of incentives for Electronic System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) sector, which is unique in the country, shall definitely be a catalyst in this endeavour," he added.
