Umashree urges CM to help director Raghu

Kannada and Culture Minister Umashree on Thursday urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to provide aid to film director A T Raghu, who is suffering from kidney failure, from the chief minister’s relief fund.

Umashree wrote to the chief minister after reading reports about Raghu’s health on Thursday. “A director who has contributed to Kannada films since the 1980s is being treated in a private hospital. I request you to help Raghu, who has won hearts of people with more than 30 films,” the minister wrote.
