Coimbatore, March 9:
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s Weed Management Centre was adjudged the Best Centre during 2016-17 among the 24 such centres inthe country. The award includes a shield, citation and additional grant of ₹1 lakh.
A release said that the Weed Science Centre has developed integrated weed management technologies for different crops such as rice, soybean, sugarcane, groundnut, onion, tobacco, maize and aquatic weeds.
