Drivers must not flirt with riders: Uber

MUMBAI: Uber came out with new commuter-friendly "terms of use" in the interest of passenger safety on Wednesday.

The rules have a full page on how driver partners will face "permanent deactivation" over any crime, including physical contact with riders, use of inappropriate and abusive language or gestures, unwanted contact with riders after a trip is over and breaking local law while using Uber, among other offences.

Drivers should not touch or flirt with people in the car and never hurt a rider. "Uber will not tolerate breaking of local law - texting while driving, speeding or otherwise breaking local traffic laws, and using Uber to commit a crime...Uber expects drivers to drive safely 24x7."
