Two years ago, three men from Rohtak in Haryana were in the eye of a storm after a video showing them getting beaten by two sisters went viral. Mohit, Kuldeep, and Deepak were hunted down and arrested for allegedly molesting the two women in the video--Aarti and Pooja. However, last Friday they were discharged after the judge found "no material" to charge them in a molestation case.

Even though "justice" appears to have been served for these men, they have lost the future they once dreamt of, before they were booked on false charges of molestation.

Kuldeep and Deepak, who once planned to join the Indian Army, and had cleared the medical and physical tests, could not write the examination after the police case against them. Now, since they are above 21 years old, they can no longer re-apply, reported The Hindustan Times. Mohit wanted to work for the Delhi Police--he may still have a chance there.

The three men are now reportedly studying humanities in college, and will not press defamation charges against the two sisters, reported HT.

The trio were discharged on Friday after 40 witnesses reportedly told the court that the argument was over a seat on the bus, and not a case of molestation. Early reports after the incident in 2015 suggested that the men were trying to get seats for two other women, one of whom was feeling unwell. They had reportedly asked the Rohtak sisters to give these women their seat.
