AISHTMA sign MoUs with East African countries

: All Skin and Hide Tanners and Merchants Association (AISHTMA) has signed memorandum of understandings with East African countries, and Tanzania, United Nations Agency and with the International Trade Centre to give a fillip to the domestic leather industry.

The signing of MoUs is supported by Supporting Indian Trade and Investment for agency and funded by United Kingdom's Department for International Development, a press release here said.



Senior officials of the All Skin and Hide Tanners and Merchants Association exchanged documents with Tanners Association of and Uganda Leather and Allied Industries at a function here,today.

The MoUs would focus on trade information exchange, trade and investment promotion, sharing of best practices and joint development of services among others.

AISHTMA would promote trade and investment partnerships between and East initially and later extend it to other geographies, the release added.
