Edtech accelerator Edugild announces third batch

PUNE: Pune based edtech accelerator Edugild announced the launch of the third batch of its accelerator programme with six new startups. Three of these are from India and three from the USA and cover areas ranging from augmented reality to gamification to skill assessment, among others. The companies are: Skillzot (behavioural science ideas),Skillsoniq (adaptive testing), Yoscholar (school store front), ChangeMyPath (gaming platform for interactive education training content), Kids Triangle (scientific child development through technology and Study Marvel (AR platform for K-12 segment).

Rishi Kapal, CEO, Edugild, said, “Speed of creating and executing the strategies is a key differentiator for our companies to scale up fast. We are here to create the right conditions for bringing out the best out of our startups. The founders have way more potential than they know and we are here to make them exploit the capabilities to their full potential.” In the last 18 months, Edugild has scaled up 10 edtech companies- seven from India, two from USA and one from Russia. Edugild’s program spans across multi-disciplinary engagements, customized for each startup. Three companies from the earlier batches, Simulanis, Gradopedia and Classboat have already raised funds and Ahhaa.com has received angel funding commitment. Over the last 6 months, Edugild has also expanded its partnership horizons to cross borders with EPG UK, Edtech Israel, JMD EDU China and strategic alliances in USA and Australia.
