Tata Ceramics Limited on Monday launched its retail store in Lucknow. It is the company's first store outside of Kerala.
The company had previously opened retail stores at Kochi and Kottayam in Kerala.
It supplies premium tableware and giftware to leading luxury brands and airlines worldwide, Tata Ceramics managing director V Govind Raj told Business Standard here.
"We are planning to expand our retail footprint to 25 stores through the franchisee route in another two years' time, including 3-4 more stores in Uttar Pradesh," he informed.
Now, Tata Ceramics is looking at launching retail stores in major UP towns of Kanpur, Varanasi and Allahabad. The future expansion plans would be incumbent upon the customer response, Raj added.
Besides, Tata Ceramics has recently launched its new 'Made in India' premium brand merchandise comprising coffee mugs, dinner sets, tea sets etc.
The company, based in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Kochi is operating since 1994.
