In the first nine months of this financial year, Maruti Suzuki India sold a little over 60,000 cars to cab aggregators, six per cent of sales. For all of 2015-16, it had sold 48,000 units to these entities. This segment, still nascent, appears on course to account for 15-17 per cent of passenger vehicle volumes by 2019-20, says ICRA.
