SP, BSP are the two sides of the same coin: PM Narendra Modi in Varanasi

NEW DELHI: At the conclusion of a massive 5 km road show in Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a rally in Kashi Vidyapith University in which he spoke at length about the problems of the state, and what his government intends to do if elected to power.

Here are the key points from his speech

- The state government has always carried out development for votes, calculating which work will get the party maximum number of votes.

- The government plans to make Kashi and Banaras a tourism hub which will in turn generate huge employment.

- By 2022 everyone will have a home, with water, electricity and toilets with schools nearby.

- Possessing every natural resource, there is only one drawback of UP that it lacks a responsible government.

- Handful of people, misusing their chair, looted the poorest for 70 years

- Noteban united all the corrupt.

- SP, BSP are the two sides of the same coin, in the future we may have to open an archaeological department to dig out whether there was a Congress party in the nation.

- Taking a jibe at dynasty politic, Modi said that Akhilesh overtook the heritage if his father, while his new friend (Rahul Gandhi) got it from his mother, grandfather, which is why, these people don't take hard decision. i Have come from my own hard work and from the love of Banaras, that is why i cant take hard decisions
