At least 16 people were killed when Taliban suicide bombers attacked two security compounds in the capital.

While 15 persons were killed and 43 wounded in the first attack, one person died and another was injured in the second.

Saying has been a victim of terror, the ministry said: "We reiterate our resolve to work with Afghanistan to bring the perpetrators of terrorist violence to justice they deserve wherever they may be."
