More than 670 km of village roads were constructed in Rajasthan under the Kisan Path programme in the last three years, State Agriculture Minister Prabhu Lal Saini today said.
The Rajasthan Agriculture Marketing Board has constructed 679.49 km of Kisan Paths since 2014 in 1,600 villages, he said in the Assembly.
Replying to supplementary questions during the Question Hour, Saini said roads would be constructed in wholesale markets areas of the state depending on availability of funds with Mandi committees.
Public Health and Engineering Department Minister Surendra Goyal said officials have been directed to prepare a Detailed Project Report to provide drinking water to 29 villages in Bikaner from the Indira Gandhi canal.
Replying to a question, he said the government will make drinking water available on the basis of availability of financial resources.
