A 21-year-old man and his teenage sister were run over by a bus on the Sultanpur-highway near here, police said today.

Sanjiv Verma and his 17-year-old sister, residents of Basdevpur village, were killed on the spot yesterday when a UPSRTC bus mowed them down while they were returning home, SHO Upadhyay said.



The police have impounded the bus, however the driver and conductor of the bus managed to flee from the spot, he said.
