Most base metals including copper, aluminium and Nickel prices recouped smartly at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockist buying amid renewed demand from industrial users.
Nickel jumped by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 785 from Tuesday's level of Rs 770.
Copper scrap heavy climbed by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 404 from Rs 396.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar rose by Rs 7 per kg each to Rs 411 and Rs 439 as against Rs 404 and Rs 432, respectively.
Copper armiture gained by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 394 from Rs 388 and copper sheet cutting moved by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 385 compared to Rs 381 yesterday.
Copper utensils scrap recovered by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 363 from Rs 360 and Aluminium ingots edged-up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 146 as against Rs 144 previously.
Aluminium utensils scrap inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 119.
