Chinese investors looking to postpone closing of AC Milan deal
The Chinese buyers that committed to the acquisition of prized Italian soccer club AC Milan are looking to further postpone the closing of the deal, two sources close to the matter told Reuters on Tuesday. The accord, valuing the club at 740 million euros ($788 million) including 220 million euros of debt, was originally supposed to close at the end of last year but was then pushed to March 3 as the Chinese buyers struggled to get final approval from Beijing.
Motor racing: Williams wrap up early after Stroll takes a spin
Lance Stroll's official Formula One test debut with Williams lasted 12 laps on Tuesday before the Canadian rookie spun off and damaged the car, forcing Williams to shut up shop before lunchtime. Brazilian veteran Felipe Massa had managed 103 laps on Monday's opening day in the same car.

Former FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against his 10-year ban from soccer, the tribunal said on Tuesday. The Frenchman, whose job was to ensure the smooth running of FIFA and in particular its flagship World Cup tournament, was right-hand man to now banned president Sepp Blatter before both were embroiled in a corruption scandal which swept soccer's governing body in 2015.

Cycling: Discussion on reducing peloton size still ongoing - Tour boss
Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme said on Tuesday that discussions on reducing the number of riders per team in grand tours were still ongoing. In November, Tour organizers ASO, who also own the Tour of Spain (Vuelta), as well as Giro d'Italia owners RCS and Tour of Flanders organizers Flanders Classics said grand tours would feature eight instead of nine riders per teams.
Cycling: Riders association calls for more safety tests on disc brakes

Fears that the brakes, a sharp-edged exposed disc, could cause serious injuries prompted the CPA to call for further tests before they are allowed to be trialled in more races.
Vikings decline 2017 option on Adrian Peterson
