Future Retail, Federal Bank, Gati surge over 5% on Tuesday
NEW DELHI: Despite muted session, shares of Future Retail, Federal Bank, Lanco Infratech surged more than 5 per cent on NSE on Tuesday.
The BSE Sensex was trading 11.07 points down at 28801.81 in the afternoon trade on Tuesday following mixed global cues.
However, some of the stocks such as Future Retail Ltd. (up 5.02 per cent) , Federal Bank (up 5.34 per cent) , Prozone Intu (up 5.34 per cent) , MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd. (up 5.35 per cent) , IL&FS Engg Const (up 5.44 per cent) , Gati (up 5.72 per cent) , Monnet Ispat (up 5.95 per cent) , Stampede Cap (up 6.09 per cent) , Future Lifestyle (up 6.28 per cent) , Lanco Infratech (up 6.67 per cent) rallied over 5 per cent during the day.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel (up 1.81 per cent) , M&M (up 1.68 per cent) , Hindalco Inds. (up 1.63 per cent) , YES Bank (up 1.11 per cent) , Asian Paints (up 1.10 per cent) , Sun Pharma (up 0.73 per cent) , Zee Ent. (up 0.69 per cent) , Tech Mahindra (up 0.68 per cent) , Tata Power (up 0.67 per cent) , BHEL (up 0.62 per cent) were trading in green.
The Nifty 50 index was down 7.55 down at 8889.15 around the same time. Among the 50 stocks, 25 stocks were trading in green, while 24 were trading in red around 12.55 pm (IST).
