RIL, Grasim, HPCL, ICICI Bank among most active stocks in terms of value
NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Industries ( Rs 478.42 crore) , Idea Cellular ( Rs 369.13 crore) , Grasim Inds. ( Rs 254.77 crore) , HPCL ( Rs 253.76 crore) , Bharti Airtel ( Rs 217.44 crore) , Bharti Infratel ( Rs 198.21 crore) , ICICI Bank ( Rs 178.36 crore) , NTPC ( Rs 154.12 crore) , Maruti Suzuki ( Rs 150.30 crore) , Axis Bank ( Rs 142.97 crore) were among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Tuesday .
The NSE Nifty was down 3.80 points at 8892.90 around 12.40 pm.
In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL (down 3.78 per cent) , Coal India Ltd (down -2.38 per cent) , Idea Cellular (down -1.96 per cent) , Grasim Inds. (down -1.84 per cent) , TCS (down -1.39 per cent) , Ambuja Cements (down -1.09 per cent) , NTPC (down -0.91 per cent) , Bajaj Auto (down -0.91 per cent) , Eicher Motors (down -0.90 per cent) and ICICI Bank (down -0.81 per cent) were trading in red.
On the other hand, Hindalco Inds. (up 1.96 per cent) , Bharti Airtel (up 1.71 per cent) , M&M (up 1.42 per cent) , YES Bank (up 1.24 per cent) , Zee Ent. (up 0.97 per cent) , Asian Paints (up 0.92 per cent) , Tata Steel (up 0.87 per cent) , BHEL (up 0.85 per cent) , Larsen & Toubro (up 0.82 per cent) , Tata Power (up 0.73 per cent) were trading in green.
