HDFC, BEL, Axis Bank, Airtel among most active stocks in terms of value

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Industries ( Rs 1762.66 crore) , HDFC ( Rs 223.71 crore) , BEL ( Rs 221.83 crore) , Axis Bank ( Rs 200.73 crore) , ICICI Bank ( Rs 182.04 crore) , Vedanta Ltd ( Rs 150.80 crore) , Bharti Airtel ( Rs 144.65 crore) , GAIL ( Rs 143.00 crore) , Sun Pharma ( Rs 138.29 crore) , Infosys ( Rs 136.23 crore) , TCS ( Rs 134.34 crore) , Idea Cellular ( Rs 131.50 crore) were among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Monday till 12.30 pm (IST).

The NSE Nifty was trading 15.60 points down at 8923.90 around the same time.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank (down -3.02 per cent) , Zee Ent. (down -2.61 per cent) , PowerGrid (down -2.54 per cent) , Ambuja Cements (down -2.18 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (down -2.11 per cent) , Eicher Motors (down -1.92 per cent) , Bharti Airtel (down -1.69 per cent) , BPCL (down -1.68 per cent) , Tata Motors (down -1.64 per cent) , Cipla (down -1.61 per cent) , ACC (down -1.61 per cent) and Bank of Baroda (down -1.55 per cent) were among top losers.

On the other hand, RIL (up 4.77 per cent) , Aurobindo Pharma (up 2.19 per cent) , Hind. Unilever (up 1.25 per cent) , Infosys (up 1.18 per cent) , Lupin (up 0.79 per cent) , HCL Tech (up 0.66 per cent) , Hero MotoCorp (up 0.51 per cent) , Wipro (up 0.50 per cent) , Bajaj Auto (up 0.46 per cent) , Sun Pharma (up 0.45 per cent) , TCS (up 0.32 per cent) , Coal India Ltd (up 0.29 per cent) were trading in green.

Most Active stocks in terms of value help investors to identify the stocks with highest trading turnover during the day.

Shares of SIL Investments, Bharat Rasayan, Jindal Worldwide, Lumax Industries, Vijaya Bank, JP Associates, Pearl Polymers, National Fertilizers, Edelweiss Financial, Vardhman Hold, Pilani Invest, NBI Industrial Finance Company Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week high.

On the other hand Birla Cotsyn, FCS Software, OnMobile Global, DB International, EIH, BSE Ltd., TD Power Sys, KSS Ltd, Shekhawati Poly, JITF Infralogistics Ltd., Heidelberg Cem, AstraZeneca stocks hit their new 52-week low levels during the day.
