Lead prices edged higher by 0.34 per cent to Rs 149.75 per kg in futures in evening trade today as speculators created fresh positions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in March inched up by 50 paise, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 149.75 per kg in business turnover of 49 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in February contracts was up by 40 paise, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 149 per kg in 734 lots.
Market analysts said position created by speculators mainly influenced lead prices at futures trade.
