The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the AP Tourism Department are holding a two-day conclave here on Friday and Saturday to promote tourism and to brand the city as a hot tourist destination both for domestic and international tourists. CII AP zone chairman GS Shiv Kumar said here on Thursday that 25 major destination promotion companies in the country were invited to the conclave. Neeraj Sarda, convener of the tourism panel of the CII, said CII had decided to promote Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati as tourist destinations in the State.
