Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Late Kalikho Pul’s wife hopeful of getting justice
GUWAHATI: Dangwimsai Pul, the first wife of former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Late Kalikho Pul is hopeful that probe of alleged suicide of her will start soon.
Dangwimsai said that she is happy for she has received response of Chief Justice of India (CJI) regarding her letter seeking a probe into the ‘suicide note’ found near her late husband.
"I heard the CJI has instructed to register the FIR and probe the note which was found behind his (Pul’s) body." she said.
Pul’s wife demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the Pul death and long note which Pul has left.
In August last year the than Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein stated that pul hanged in a ceiling fan inside the Chief Minister’s Residence. Pul was staying at the official residence of the Chief Minister.
