SJVN, ITD Cementation, BEL among stocks that slipped up to 7% till noon trade

NEW DELHI: The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 179.84 points up at 28941.43 in the noon trade on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of SJVN (down -6.34 per cent), ITD Cementation (down -5.60 per cent), Jaypee Infra (down -5.58 per cent), Bank of Maharashtra (down -4.72 per cent), Lumax Ind (down -3.92 per cent), Marksans Pharma (down -3.66 per cent), AdityaBirlaNuvo (down -3.29 per cent), Jindal Stainles (down -3.26 per cent), Grasim Industries (down -3.11 per cent), Titan Company (down -3.04 per cent), BEL (down -2.84 per cent), Maha Seamless (down -2.74 per cent), JSW Holdings (down -2.72 per cent), Huhtamaki (down -2.55 per cent), Greaves Cotton (down -2.51 per cent) declined up to 7 per cent intraday on February 22.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks were trading in green, while 25 stocks were in red. The Nifty index was up 45.40 points up at 8953.25 around 12.20 pm.

On the NSE, KSS Ltd, Gangotri Text, Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd., BS Ltd, DB International, FCS Software, Rasoya Proteins, Tricom India, Birla Cotsyn hit their fresh 52-week low during the day, while Jindal Worldwide, HOV Services, Salona Cotspin, RIL, SIL Investments, NBI Industrial Finance Company Ltd., Times Guaranty, Radha Madhav, PFC, Arshiya Ltd, Harrisons Mala, Hind Oil Expl, Rain Ind, REC, Indiabulls Ventures touched their fresh 52-week high today.
