Reliance Industries, SP Apparels among top 10 stocks that hit fresh 52-week high in first 15 minutes of trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Industries (RIL), Jindal Worldwide, Salona Cotspin, Radha Madhav, Times Guaranty, Rain Industries, Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), National Fertilizers, Pearl Polymers, S P Apparels Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in the first 15 minutes of trade on NSE.

On the other hand, Rasoya Proteins, Tricom India, Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd., Birla Cotsyn, FCS Software, BS Ltd touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 28 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index around 9.30 pm, while 23 were trading in red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty was up 25.80 points up at 8,933.65 in early trade on Wednesday on account of buying in heavyweight stocks. Shares of Reliance Industries gained nearly 7 per cent in the past five trading sessions.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Axis Bank, Bharti Infratel, BPCL, BHEL, Tata Motors, HCL Tech, Dr Reddys Labs and Grasim Industries were among top gainers in early trade, while TCS, Infosys, PowerGrid, Aurobindo Pharm, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Ambuja Cements, Idea Cellular, Bajaj Auto and ITC were among top losers.

The BSE Sensex was up 109.01 points up at 28,870.60.
