Chennai, Feb 20:
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced the closure of 500 more Tasmac shops in the State.
Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had already announced the closure of 500 shops.
"Prohibition is a measure to fulfil promise of late Jayalalithaa. We are committed to prohibition in phases," he told newspersons after signing orders on five decisions on assuming the office of Chief Minister.
