Santosh Kumar Pattanayak appointed MD of IRFC

NEW DELHI: Technocrat Santosh Kumar Pattanayak was today appointed as Managing Director of Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), a dedicated financing arm of the Ministry of Railways.

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved his appointment to the post for five years, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.

Pattanayak, a former officer of Indian Railway Accounts Service, is Director (Finance) in Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd.
