Vedanta net profit rises 353.26 % to Rs 1866.28 crore in December quarter

Vedanta posted 353.26 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.
For the quarter under review, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1866.28 crore as against Rs compared with Rs. 411.75 crore in the same period last year crore in the same period last year.
Total consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 20295.98 crore, up 29.64 percent YOY from Rs 15655.89 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The stock is currently trading at Rs 251.50 on NSE down by 1.82 per cent .
