Sun Pharma Q3 net profit slips 4.7% YoY to Rs 1,471.82 crore

NEW DELHI: Sun Pharma on Tuesday reported 4.73 per cent drop in net profit (after taxes, non-controlling interests and share of profit/loss of associates and JVs) at Rs 1,471.82 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 1,544.85 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.

Sales for the quarter came in at Rs 7,683.24 crore compared with Rs 7,087.07 crore in the same quarter last year.

Total comprehensive income for the quarter fell to Rs 1802.73 crore from Rs 2233.39 crore in the same quarter last year.
