Power Finance Corp posts 23% rise in Q3 net profit to Rs 1,950 crore

New Delhi: State-run Power Finance Corp posted 23 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter ended December 2016 to Rs 1,950 crore from Rs 1,582 crore in the corresponding period previous year.
The company's sanctions increased by 64 per cent to Rs 32,027 crore. Disbursements in the third quarter increased by 13 per cent to Rs 12,150 crore from Rs 10,755 crore in the same period a year ago.
Earning per share (EPS) increased by 23 per cent to Rs 29.54 from Rs 23.97.
