Motherson Sumi Systems reports 33.76% rise in Q3 net profit

NEW DELHI: Motherson Sumi Systems on Monday posted a 33.76 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.
For the quarter under review, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 416 crore, compared with Rs 311 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 10,514 crore, up 13.21 per cent YoY over Rs 9,287 crore reported in the year-ago quarter.
Ebitda for the quarter grew 23 per cent at Rs 1,109 crore, compared with Rs 903 crore in the same quarter last year.
At the time of writing this report, the stock was trading at Rs 345.90 on NSE, down 2.81 per cent.
