Most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Friday, February 10

NEW DELHI: Shares of SBI (Rs 756.12 crore), Grasim Industries ( Rs 549.75 crore), TCS ( Rs 472.71 crore), Axis Bank ( Rs 413.64 crore), Infosys ( Rs 399.41 crore), ICICI Bank ( Rs 332.49 crore), Tata Steel ( Rs 296.10 crore), Bank of Baroda ( Rs 290.08 crore), Tech Mahindra ( Rs 274.12 crore) and Indian Oil Corp ( Rs 198.56 crore) were among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Friday (till 2.20 pm).

The NSE Nifty was trading 22.30 points up at 8800.70 in the afternoon trade. In the Nifty 50 index, Aurobindo Pharma (down -3.42 per cent), Zee Entertainment (down -1.79 per cent), ITC (down -1.48 per cent), Lupin (down -1.41 per cent) and Dr Reddys Labs (down -1.33 per cent) were trading in red.

On the other hand, Grasim Industries (up 3.32 per cent), Bank of Baroda (up 2.96 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 2.87 per cent), TCS (up 2.35 per cent), Tata Steel (up 2.26 per cent), Infosys (up 2.15 per cent), Adani Ports SEZ (up 2.12 per cent), IndusInd Bank (up 1.59 per cent), SBI (up 1.21 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (up 1.09 per cent) were trading in green in the afternoon trade.

Most active stocks in terms of value help investors to identify the stocks with highest trading turnover during the day.

Arcotech Ltd, Bang Overseas, Manaksia Aluminium Company Ltd., Manaksia Steels Ltd., Sanwaria Agro, Sical Logistics, Harrisons Mala, Peria Karamalai, Crest Ventures, Paramount Comm hit their fresh 52-week high in Friday’s trade.

On the other hand Nitesh Estates, JMT Auto, Lumax Ind, Oriental Bank, Pricol Ltd., Shekhawati Poly, Birla Cotsyn, Bosch, Rasoya Proteins, Raj Rayon stocks touched new 52-week low levels during the day.
