Edelweiss Financial Services Q3 net up 47 per cent

MUMBAI: Edelweiss Financial Services today reported 47% increase in net profit at Rs 155 crore for the third quarter ended December, 31. 2016.

The net profit of the company during October-December quarter of 15-16 was at Rs 106 crore.

At the end of the quarter, book size of Retail Credit waa up 33% to Rs 7,823 crore. The Wholesale credit book was Rs 13,606 cr (INR 12,148 cr at the end of Q3FY17), up 12%.

Total revenue for the quarter rose 18% to Rs 1609 crore. Asset base of the company grew to Rs 37,200 crore.
