Axis Bank, IBHFL among most active stocks ahead of RBI policy review
NEW DELHI: Shares of Titan ( Rs 400.66 crore), Tata Steel (Rs 348.61 crore), Axis Bank ( Rs 253.39 crore) , Bharat Forge ( Rs 225.94 crore) , Indiabulls Housing Finance ( Rs 225.60 crore), BHEL ( Rs 223.45 crore), ITC ( Rs 206.78 crore) , RIL ( Rs 187.42 crore), Infosys ( Rs 178.42 crore) and Tata Motors ( Rs 170.48 crore) were among most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Wednesday .
The NSE Nifty was trading 9.25 points down at 8759.05 in the afternoon trade on Wednesday.
In the Nifty 50 index, ITC (down -1.64 per cent) , Bharti Airtel (down -1.39 per cent) , Dr Reddys Labs (down -1.29 per cent) , Axis Bank (down -1.10 per cent) , NTPC (down -1.01 per cent) , Sun Pharma (down -0.96 per cent) , Aurobindo Pharm (down -0.83 per cent) , HCL Tech (down -0.77 per cent) , Infosys (down -0.74 per cent) , HDFC (down -0.69 per cent) were among top losers.
On the other hand, ACC (up 2.39 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (up 2.12 per cent) , Zee Ent. (up 2.00 per cent) , M&M (up 1.68 per cent) , Ambuja Cements (up 1.64 per cent) , Coal India Ltd (up 1.60 per cent) , Grasim Inds. (up 1.58 per cent) , Tata Motors (up 1.31 per cent) , TCS (up 1.28 per cent) , Bosch (up 1.19 per cent) were among top gainers in the afternoon trade.

During the day LT Foods, Kopran Ltd, Karma Energy, Future Market, Mukand Engg, Gujarat Apollo, V2 Retail Ltd, Compuage Infocom, National Fert, S P Apparels Ltd. are the stocks which touched their fresh 52-week high.
On the other hand JMT Auto, FCS Software, Raj Rayon, BSE Ltd., Birla Cotsyn stocks hit their new 52-week low levels during the day.
