Stocks that plunged over 5% in Friday’s trade

NEW DELHI: The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 33.84 points down at 28192.77 in the afternoon trade on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares such as Pan India Corp (down 14.29 per cent) , Uttam Value Stl (down 11.11 per cent) , SQS India (down 9.91 per cent) , MVL Ltd (down 8.33 per cent), Zenith Birla (down 7.14 per cent) , Shekhawati Poly (down 6.67 per cent) , Atlas Cycles (down 5.00 per cent) and Bharat Wire Ropes Ltd. (down 5 per cent) plunged over 5 per cent on February 03.

In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks ended the day in green, while 27 stocks settled the day in red.

The Nifty index was trading 7.50 points down at 8726.75 .

On the NSE, SQS India, Shekhawati Poly, Birla Cotsyn, FCS Software, Rasoya Proteins, Raj Rayon, GKW Ltd and Tricom India hit their fresh 52-week low, while Sun TV, Arrow Textiles, MTNL, Arshiya Ltd, Monnet Ispat, KEI Industries, Tarapur Trans, Graphite India, National Fert touched their fresh 52-week high in today’s trade.
