Street turns bullish on cement, auto, infra and banks after Budget

Fund managers and analysts participating in an ET Markets Poll expect the Nifty to gain further by the year end. 58% of participants feel the index could advance as much as 8% to 10% to 9,400-9,600 by December.

Nifty could rise to 9,000 to 9,400 by the year end, said 34% of those polled. The participants feel investors should stick to sectors, such as cement, infrastructure and automobiles, which are likely to benefit from a pick-up in domestic economic activity.
