Kochi, February 2:
Pepper arrivals soared as more cash has became available following easing of restrictions which has pulled down the spot prices further down, trade sources said. Arrivals surged at the terminal markets to 62 tonnes and that were traded at prices ranging between ₹625 and ₹645 a kg. Spot prices fell by ₹200 quintal to ₹62,500 (ungarbled) and ₹65,500 (garbled). Export prices were at 9,900 a tonne c&f for Europe and $10,150 for the US.
