Nick on court

On the knee: "I can feel it, but I've done everything I can for it. I've got a great team that's been helping me manage it."

On the nose! "I've got bad sinuses so I get that a lot."

How he'll spend tonight/tomorrow: "All my family and friends came down from Canberra so I'll spend the night with them."

Kyrgios through

It's a 6-2 third set for Nick, who'll be back on Wednesday to play Andreas Seppi.

Bu for one wonky patch early in the third set, he decided pretty much everything that happened in this match.

Very nice win, in just under an hour and a half. He didn't do much wrong at all.

Third set. Kyrgios leads 3-2.

Nick breaks. He had Elias down 0-40, let it get back to deuce, but won a challenge and the next two points to move ahead for the first time this set.

Third set. 2-2.

Kyrgios had to work a bit harder for that game.

Nick's having a slightly bumpy patch and Elias has managed to slow the points down and nail a few shots.

He's just pulled out a 199km/h serve to get to AD.
